Can urgency be taught?




Before urgency can be taught, it must be understood. During our week number three session, a 12 year old G.O.A.L. Initiaitve student seemed to reflect on the notion that in five short years... they will be an adult. A 15 year old student realized that in three short years... something needs to be done. With each passing year, this student will gain a clearer picture of what actions they need to take on the road called life. The greatest challenge we have as leaders of this next generation is to teach them how not to be comfortable with their daily companion known as... TIME!

The G.O.A.L. Initiative is not designed to create a comfortable mindset, it is utilized to help our youth understand preparation is essential for the moments that are urgent.
